Kourtney Kardashian expressed her gratitude to the doctors who performed surgery on her unborn child, saving the baby's life. 

The surgery took place while the baby was still in her womb, and it was an urgent procedure. 

This was a new and scary experience for the 44-year-old reality TV star, especially because her previous pregnancies had been trouble-free.

Kourtney's husband, Travis Barker, had to cut short his tour with the band Blink-182 due to a family emergency, without initially revealing the details. Later, he shared that it was a life-threatening surgery for their baby, which thankfully went well. 

He thanked everyone for their support.

The exact nature of the baby's surgery remains undisclosed by the couple. 

Kourtney expressed her everlasting gratitude to her medical team for their role in saving her baby's life. She also thanked her husband for rushing to be with her at the hospital and for taking care of her during and after the surgery. 

She extended her appreciation to her mother for providing support during this challenging time.

Kourtney conveyed that the fear she experienced was difficult to understand for those who haven't been through a similar situation. 

She now has a newfound respect for mothers who have had to fight for their babies' well-being during pregnancy. Her joy at leaving the hospital with her baby boy safe in her womb was immeasurable.

Kourtney and Travis have three children together, aged eight, eleven, and thirteen. 

Kourtney had previously shared her struggles with conception while in a relationship with her ex, Scott Disick. In June, she surprised Travis with the news of her pregnancy at one of Blink-182's concerts.
